Like many great feuds it started over a woman—but it didn’t end there. 
 

The rivalry between Jake Landry, a used car dealer in North Carolina’s smallest county, and Red, the local sheriff, comes to a fever pitch when Jake marries the woman they both love. Red takes revenge with his ticket book until finally, Jake has had enough. Now Jake's the sheriff, but Red ain't done with him yet. As the body count rises, Jake needs to staff up quick to find a killer, with Jake's neighbors - and family - in the crosshairs.
